Why using Microsoft 365 can save your business more money than you'd imagine if you explore it just a little further
As this workshop is now on-demand, we've watched it and have the following to say ...
I'm always searching for ways to claw back time I spend digging into Excel spreadsheets, lists, copying and moving data and context switching to handle what are really quite simple processes.
We haven't enough cash for developer to solve our workflow bottlenecks which leaves me (and the rest of the team) doing repetitive, routine tasks regularly which burns time.
Having my event submissions items typed into Wordpress, a product system needing a copy so we can sell effectively and another list in SharePoint where I manage the meta data is an absolute nightmare.
I'm spending masses of time copying and pasting data and finding I make loads of mistakes if I'm not really careful.
Finding out that I could re-purpose the Inventory system Geoff showed left me desperate to get building.
I didn't find a huge barrier to entry when I followed Geoff - like needing to know developer concepts such as recursive loops, attack vectors, secrets etc. - which meant that I could easily build out an Event management solution using the same Microsoft tools.
Once I'd cracked the ideas, the pulling together of all my bits of data into my own Event Inventory management solution inside M365 was not hard at all. I didn't spend loads of money or write a single line of code.
Everything Geoff shows in this workshop is available to use right now for less than $5 per month. Even with the more premium features of the Dataverse, I'm only looking at asking for around $30 pcm per user of my solutions. For bigger rollouts, I can use per-app licences and not pay a fortune to roll this out.
Would I recommend this workshop to you? 100%. Geoff is easily to listen to, knowledgeable and reassuring in delivering content that I can genuinely say I've used to save me time achieving my work goals.
